We sincerely welcome professor Yongfu Gao, current executive director of Chinese Society of International Economic Law, member of WTO Law Research Society of China Law Society, and the consultant of Shanghai WTO Law Research Association who has been engaged in the teaching and research of international economic law and international trade law for 40 years, and have undertaken the research projects of national social sciences, the State Council Legal Office, the Ministry of Commerce, Shanghai, the Municipal Education Commission, the Shanghai WTO Affairs Consultative Center and enterprises, who has published more than 110 papers at home and abroad and 23 monographs and co-authors, who has participated in the legislative drafting of 'Foreign Trade Law' and ' Law of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-Foreign Contractual Joint Ventures’, who has participated in and delivered speeches in dozens of domestic and international academic conferences and who has been a lawyer for 37 years to join Sunhold Law Firm and serve as the leader in the field of international economy and trade. Professor Gao once served as consultant in the Department of Treaty and Law of Ministry of Foreign Economy and Trade ( now Ministry of Commerce ) and Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade Commission ( now Municipal Commerce Commission ). He served as visiting professor and senior researcher at the University of San Francisco, National University of Singapore and East Asia Institute. He worked at Hong Kong DENTEN HALL Law Firm and served as a senior Chinese adviser at Hong Kong Zuweishi Law Firm.
Professor Gao Yongfu founded Shanghai Shenmao Law Firm and served as director for years. Since working as a lawyer in 1984, he has handled more than 100 cases of domestic and foreign projects and disputes related to international investment, international trade and economy, some of which have had a greater impact on China, such as the case: China Technology Import and Export Corporation v. Swiss Industrial Resources Company ( IRC ) in the Bulletin of the Supreme People 's Court in 1988, and the investment dispute case of Shanghai International General Contracting Company in Philippine. Professor Gao served as an arbitrator of the Shanghai Arbitration Commission for more than 10 years and handled nearly 30 foreign-related economic dispute arbitration cases.
