On January 2, 2020, the conference themed by "the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the restoration and reconstruction of lawyer system" was held by Shanghai Lawyers Association in Jinjiang Auditorium. Junfeng Wang, the president of All China Lawyers Association, Weidong Lu, the secretary of the party committee as well as the director of Shanghai Judicial Bureau, Weiping Liu, the deputy secretary of the party committee of Shanghai Judicial Bureau sa well as the secretary of the party committee of Shanghai Lawyers Industry, leaders of some political and legal units of the city, former presidents and supervisors of Shanghai Lawyers Association and more than 300 representative lawyers attended the event.
